Online bridal shop specialising in unique and trendy wedding favours and bridal accesories, and irish wedding directory~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? Having worked as a florist heavily involved in the wedding industry for almost ten years, I decided from talking to numerous brides who were always complaining that they couldint find suitable or trendy accesories that I would set up a web site where they could When did you launch your first website, and what was it? My first web site was the web site for my flowers which is http://www.macsflowers.com How did you decide on a name for your website? I showed a picture of one of the products that I was thinking of selling to a bride and she said oh thats Heavenly! So I came up with Wedding Heaven What makes your website different from other, similar offerings? I am constantly on the web searching for new and exciting products and I think that will be portrayed in the web site What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) To keep it and improve on it it is a work in progress! How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? I am currently spending every waking minute on this site and hope that eventually it will pay off!! If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? I would get someone to design a better shop for me! If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Of course that is always the plan(isin't it?) What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? I pretty much knew what I was getting into so nothing much but I am doing the web design myself so that is always a bit of a headache as I am also a florist and mum to three small children What has been your biggest challenge? Three small children!! What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Submitting to directories and exchanging links with like minded site How has running your website differed from your expectations? This is my first online store and it is taking a bit longer to set up than I initally expected How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? It is only just online, but I hope to keep it as a permanent fixture and expand on it Why should somebody visit your website?
